Improving eRFP Efficiency and Effectiveness

Speakers: Lisa Chamberlain, CMP, Michelle Lewis and Karen E. Venditti, CMP

Use of electronic Request for Proposals (eRFPs) to source hotels and venues has boomed in recent years. While this has brought many benefits to the meetings industry, it also brings significant challenges due to the high volume of eRFPs issued. Knowing and constructing an eRFP properly leverages the negotiating strength of the meeting planner, and successful negotiations are the conduit to achieving the core objective of your meeting or event. Join our industry professionals for an in-depth look at negotiation strategies.

Key Take-Aways:
• Determine the negotiation score of an event
• Redesign an event to achieve greater negotiating power
• Communicate a RFP properly with the outcome of achieving the core objective of the event
