2021 Call for Presentations

FSAE wants to ensure association executives are prepared to bring organizations into the next era through education at Annual Conference, Education Expo, Think Tank, Power Luncheons and other events throughout the state of Florida. No matter the venue, we want to move attendees beyond their comfort zone by stimulating interactive discussions and audience engagement on all levels of association management.

We are looking for Breakout speakers for Conference as well as speakers for all other events listed below. Events may be virtual, hybrid or in-person as allowed.

Submission Deadline: Friday, November 6

What We're Looking For

Attendees must be able to return to their association with a fresh perspective, the ability to implement cultural change and the strategic capacity to deliver and act on new knowledge.

FSAE is building a talent development resource. We are focused on how individuals and organizations can stay relevant in a fast-changing world through professional growth and functional development no matter their career stage or experience. Seasoned executives must venture into new areas of knowledge to keep their organizations moving forward. Middle and newer managers need to be extended to grow into the next level in their careers. Members new to their jobs or association field need practical tips to succeed in this industry. We want to include relevant aspects of the corporate world that will help develop strong associations, such as: Customer-Centricity, Building the Business, Product Development and new financial options. Topics like these can all clearly transfer to our members as development tools.

*A note about Leadership and Professional Business Innovation sessions: Innovation in any organization requires a new management approach. Leaders must think strategically to achieve innovation and growth. We must teach communication skills and how to distribute knowledge for leadership development. When thinking about organizational culture change, we need to focus on best practices and working collaboratively from planning to execution. Sessions should be designed to help learners focus on the user experience with the intent of an improved future result. How can we help learners develop a creative thinking mindset and be solution-based focused rather than reactive? Professional Business Innovation must enable learners to return to their association with a fresh perspective, the ability to implement cultural change and the strategic ability to deliver it.

Give thought to the level your presentation reaches and how you will move attendees forward when writing your overview. Does your presentation stimulate the learner, provoke discussion, and engage the audience? You are imperative to taking FSAE members to the next level.  Share your knowledge and do not be afraid to step up with new options.

Submission Process

All information submitted will be reviewed by the FSAE Education Committee to select speakers for our educational opportunities that occur throughout the state.
