FSAE is seeking speakers for all 2025 events. We want to ensure association executives are prepared to bring organizations into the next era through education, interactive discussions and audience engagement.

FSAE is seeking locations for our 2025 events - including our Central & South Florida Power Luncheons, CEO Retreat, Meeting Planner Forum, One Day Summits and Think Tank. This is a great opportunity to bring association executives to your property/location to experience it first hand, especially if you've undergone a recent renovation, are a new property or have something new to show off. Now is the time to be a part of making your professional community stronger while building relationships with your peers. As a volunteer, you can contribute your expertise or learn skills in new/different areas to grow in your career. Upcoming terms begin in September and run through July (Annual Conference). Committees typically meet monthly by Zoom.

The Online Auction opens June 1 and closes Monday, June 10 at 9 pm EST. And it’s open to FSAE Members and Non-Members so tell your coworkers, friends & family about the fantastic deals available while supporting professional development and education in the association industry. You can view items and details online without an account, but you'll need to enter a phone number or email address and credit card number to place bids.
David Grossman and Consumer Technology Association have been stalwart leaders in the effort to rid our communities of the spammers members fake membership list offers and/or impersonate our room blocks using our logos or spoofing our email domains. The FTC made a final ruling to help us protect our organizations and members from these scams. He is sharing this info with us below -
Recently, the FTC issued its long-awaited final rule prohibiting the impersonation of government, businesses, and their officials or agents in interstate commerce. CTA is in the process of reviewing the text. It will become effective 30 days from the date it is published in the Federal Register. Impersonation fraud remains an ongoing threat to the face-to-face business events industry. Commonly seen examples include the sale of attendee registration lists, fraudulent websites offering hotel bookings, and the sale of false discounted badges. While FSAE warns our sponsors, exhibitors and members often, these spammers are notorious for scrapping logos and company names to scam you.

Preparing for the CAE or CMP exams is crucial for your success. FSAE is partnering with the Michigan Society (MSAE) and MPI - North Florida to offer virtual prep courses at the member rate!
Thanks to all members that participated in our recent Luncheons Survey. We had over 100 Executive members and almost 50 Associates participate. Survey consensus is that TIME is the biggest factor in attending lunch events. Everyone is busier than ever and getting away from the office is more difficult. Budgets for professional development also impact attendability.
The majority (66%) of Exec-respondents are located in Tallahassee and the best times of the year in general to attend a lunch are Jan-March (60%) and October-December (62%). Additionally, 58% prefer the variety of frequent events over longer, more topic-specific events with the education provided being as an important factor.
