We are all painfully aware of the tragedies that have hit Southwest Florida and more areas of the state in the wake of Hurricane Ian. Our thoughts and prayers are with all members and Floridians that were impacted by the storm.

FSAE is collecting funds to contribute to Volunteer Florida's Florida Disaster Fund, an official State of Florida private fund that distributes funds directly to organizations that serve individuals and communities with disaster relief and recovery.

FLORIDA ASSOCIATION LEADERS RECEIVE GRANTS FROM
 FSAE FOUNDATION, MEMBERCLICKS, NAYLOR ASSOCIATION SOLUTIONS
FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUED EDUCATION

The Florida Society of Association Executives Foundation has granted $8,485 this year to 14 professionals across Florida.  The members that received these grants will use the 2022 funds for professional development and educational opportunities that help advance their careers in the non-profit and association management industry.  Additionally, six grants were awarded through the Diversity Acceleration Program (DAP) Grant program underwritten by The Renaissance – Limitless ASR and Stephens & Associates.

Culture of Engagement: How to Build Engaged, Passionate Members

In May 2021, eighteen FSAE members gathered at the Opal Grand Beach Resort & Spa in Delray Beach for the first in-person meeting most members had attended in over a year. The two-day event's focus was a deep-dive in member engagement led by facilitator Joshua Evans. Think Tank is an interactive meeting of a small group of association professionals that contemplate a single topic regarding the association management profession. Findings from the event are shared with the community in a White Paper. We are pleased to share the 2021 White Paper with you.

We are excited to announce our FSAE Foundation small change matching partner for 2021: Hancock Whitney Bank!

"Small change" (and checks) collected at statewide FSAE Power Luncheons will be matched by Hancock Whiteney up to $250 to help member dontaions go twice as far in supporting the Foundation initiatives of providing member grants for professional development and underwriting education for association professionals.

The FSAE Foundation 2020 Auction was held online only on July 21 - 31. Proceeds from the Auction go directly towards funding professional development grants for FSAE members and providing funds to enhance education offered at the FSAE Annual Conference and other events.
