“The New CEO’s Guide,” published by ASAE covers a lot of ground for current, new or aspiring CEO’s…. from working with a board, to knowing what you are walking into.

Beth Brooks, CAE, author of the new book, will lead a discussion of the book, why it was written, and what she considers to be the biggest mistakes that new CEO’s make.

Beth Brooks, CAE has worked in the association profession for 32 years starting with the Texas Dental Association. After a 10 year stint with TDA, she became the Executive Director for the Texas Pest Control Association. For the past 13 years, she has been the CEO of the Texas Society of Association Executives (the association of associations in Texas). In her role at TSAE, she counsels many executives and their boards on governance and strategic direction.Her book, The New CEO’s Guide was just published by ASAE…. it is for new or aspiring association Executive Directors/CEO’s.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests made in writing by 5:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2016 will receive a full refund minus a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations made after January 15 WILL NOT receive a refund. There will be no refunds for “no shows.”
