With the launch of more accessible and affordable devices in recent years, altered realities have become one of the most fast paced emerging technologies in our industry today. While they are still in their emerging stage, the popularity that they have already received indicates the impact that they are going to have on the meetings and events industry. But how can association event professionals use augmented reality to make conferences and tradeshows more engaging for our attendees? Covalent Reality is a multi-disciplinary digital agency with a passion for virtual reality, augmented reality, and 3D printing. They will lead an in depth discussion on the differences of virtual and augmented reality, and show some very unique and creative ways in which VR and AR can be used to make a great event even better.
