Going Non-Traditional with Your Next Event

Speaker: Brett Kolmetz

When picking a venue for your event you have two main categories to choose from. You could go for a traditional venue or you could find a unique non-traditional event venue. Traditionally, a meeting room, hotel, conference center, restaurant or convention center may come to mind when envisioning the stage where large, note-worthy events are held. However, in today's world where making a great first impression and expressing one's own style has never been more important, there are many newcomers on the traditional event stage. Spaces with unique elements will surprise and delight your guests and can create great conversation pieces. What may be another chicken dinner in a ballroom could become an event to remember for a lifetime if hosted in a unique, non-traditional setting. Join Brett Kolmetz, Director of Sales at Hotel Duval, while we discuss how and where you can find non-traditional event venues.

Key Take-Aways:

  • How to find non-traditional venues
  • Types of venues that can be hired out for events
  • How using a non-traditional venue can add to your event goal
