How to Turn a Cross-Generational Team into a "Well-Oiled Machine"

 1 Hour

Speaker: Andy Hafer, Dynamic Communities, Inc

Almost every workplace today has a mix of personnel from across the generations - the long-lasting Baby Boomers; the Gen-X and Gen-Y in line right behind; and now the Internet Generation. Attend this power lunch where we examine the general characteristics of each generation and what helped shaped them. What can you most often count on and what misalignment can you avoid? Then join in what's sure to be a lively round table discussion of experiences in workplaces of your peers. Learn what works best to motivate each generation and walk away with tips and guidelines on how you can build a cross-generational team into a well-oiled machine!

Learning Objectives:

  • Create empathy being able to understand and identify the different characteristics of the generations.
  • Demonstrate the urgency of the need to change in the American workplace
  • Examine some tactics that may be helpful in the workplace to work harmoniously and productively.

Andy Hafer has spent his career in technology. He founded and currently serves as CEO of Dynamic Communities, Inc.
