How FSAE Helped Me Win the Election

Speaker: Gwendolyn Marshall, Clerk of Circuit Court for Leon County

Gwen Marshall has worked in associations for over 17 years and has been an active member in FSAE since 2008. Learn how she utilized skills from her professional association, FSAE, to win the recent Clerk of Circuit Court election as well as lessons learned from her successful grassroots campaign.  Gwen's insights on being persuasive and influential will help attendees harness their own leadership abilities.

Gwendolyn Marshall worked for the Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers 17 years. During that time, she held various positions, which has given her invaluable experience in dealing with local and state government. In her last capacity as Member Services Manager, Gwen is responsible for training the Clerks and their employees on improving customer services, achieving statutory compliance, and efficiencies of the office.  She has a strong background in education administration and has delivered more than 400 professional training programs specifically for the Clerks’ offices.

What is the Executive Series Luncheon? 
The Foundation's Executive Series Luncheon is a sponsored luncheon exclusive to association executives. The luncheons are held in Tallahassee, Florida several times each year. Special speakers shed light on issues regarding Florida government such as finance, economic situations, etc. All FSAE executive members are invited to attend and the luncheons are free.

Cancellation Policy: Individuals who fail to cancel reservations, in writing, prior to Feb. 10, 2017, will be billed $25.00. No shows will also be billed $25.00.
