2024 Legislative Session: What to Expect in January

Allison TantSpeaker: Representative Allison Tant

The 2024 FL Legislative Session is right around the corner. Committee meetings begin in September and next year Session starts in January, Join local legislator Allison Tant to hear her thoughts about what we can expect this session.

Allison Tant is the State Representative for House District 9 which includes Madison, and parts of Leon & Jefferson Counties.  She was first elected in 2020 and re-elected without opposition in 2022.  Rep. Tant is the Democratic Ranking Member for the Commerce Committee and Postsecondary Education & Workforce Subcommittee.  She also serves on the Rules Committee; Ways & Means Committee; and the Healthcare Regulatory Committee.
She is married to Barry Richards who served in the Florida House of Representative from 1974-78.

What is the Executive Series Luncheon?

The Foundation's Executive Series Luncheon is a sponsored luncheon exclusive to association executives. The luncheons are held in Tallahassee, Florida several times each year. Special speakers shed light on issues regarding Florida government such as finance, economic situations, etc. All FSAE executive members are invited to attend and the luncheons are free.
