Yesterday, the FSAE Boards of Directors installed a new Chair in a special election. We are pleased to announce that the FSAE 2022-23 Chair is Michele White, CAE!

You may have seen that FSAEs 2022-23 Chair Marsha Kiner has taken a new job. While Marsha is looking forward to being closer to family and helping the community she grew up in, her new opportunity is not in an association and changes her eligibility to be an Executive Member and Chair of FSAE.

Educate Association Executives for the Next Era in Association Management

FSAE is seeking speakers for all 2023 events. We want to ensure association executives are prepared to bring organizations into the next era through education, interactive discussions and audience engagement.

Fall is a popular time for members to sit for both the Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) exams. FSAE is partnering with organizations to provide weekly, virtual study groups at the member rate!

CAE: Michigan SAE is offering several CAE study groups. The Concentrated course begins September 23. Learn more (Make sure to indicate you're an FSAE member to get the discount!)

FSAE is seeking locations for our 2023 events - including our Central & South Florida Power Luncheons, Retreats and Roundtables. This is a great opportunity to bring association executives to your property/location to experience it first hand, especially if you've undergone a recent renovation, are a new property or have something new to show off. The Florida Society of Association Executives Foundation has granted $8,485 this year to 14 professionals across Florida.  The members that received these grants will use the 2022 funds for professional development and educational opportunities that help advance their careers in the non-profit and association management industry.  Additionally, six grants were awarded through the Diversity Acceleration Program (DAP) Grant program underwritten by The Renaissance – Limitless ASR and Stephens & Associates.

The FSAE Board of Directors currently has three (3) At-Large positions to be filled by election of the FSAE Executive Membership. Voting ends Tuesday, June 7 at Midnight.

The mission of the FSAE Foundation is to support education, research, professional development, publications, and public relations efforts for the association management professional. Since 2002, the Foundation has awarded 365 grants totaling over $218,200 for members to attend educational conferences or earn their CAE/CMP designations.
