The FSAE24 Annual Conference community project supports Help Now of Osceola, which provides safety, empowerment and healing for survivors of domestic violence and influences social change in the community.
Opportunities to support this organization include:
Build-a-Buddy: Between education sessions, stop in the FSAE24 Learning Lounge to make a stuffed animal or two to give comfort to children (and adults) seeking immediate safety and shelter from abuse. All materials will be provided to make adorable, comforting buddies - just pick an animal, add love and stuffing, and add an outfit :)
Seeking to broaden your direct mail marketing to associations? There’s no better way to target the Florida association decision makers than by FSAE’s membership list! There are more than 600 association executives in FSAE who represent almost 300 Florida associations. They are eager to hear about new products, services, destinations and facilities. The FSAE Board of Directors currently has two (2) At-Large positions to be filled by election of the FSAE Executive Membership and one (1) Associate At-Large position to be filled by election of the FSAE Associate Membership.

The House has released their tax package that contains some significate changes to Tourism Development Taxes.
David Grossman and Consumer Technology Association have been stalwart leaders in the effort to rid our communities of the spammers members fake membership list offers and/or impersonate our room blocks using our logos or spoofing our email domains. The FTC made a final ruling to help us protect our organizations and members from these scams. He is sharing this info with us below -
Recently, the FTC issued its long-awaited final rule prohibiting the impersonation of government, businesses, and their officials or agents in interstate commerce. CTA is in the process of reviewing the text. It will become effective 30 days from the date it is published in the Federal Register. You can find the FTC's press release here, and the final rule text is available here.
