Meeting Planners and CMPs are invited to a reception from 10:30 - 11:30 for fun & informative discussions with the Hyatt Hotels in Florida representatives and indulge in fine coffees and delectable chocolates. Power Luncheon for all members is from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Power Luncheon: The Future of the Association Business Model1 Hour CAE Associations operate in a complex and dynamic environment. This environment shapes the decisions of members, impacts association strategy and requires new business models to be successful. Data has been collected on nearly 40 strategies associations are implementing to successfully adapt to a changing environment to improve Mission-based and business outcomes. Review what your peers in associations believe is essential to success and to position associations for continued growth. This presentation interprets data collected from nearly 500 association leaders by Association Laboratory through, Looking Forward™, the nation’s most comprehensive environmental scan of the association strategy environment. From workforce and technology to changing economic structures and the changing role of government, you will learn about the most substantial factors impacting association members and how these changes are influencing association membership, meetings, education and government affairs strategy. CEO/CAE Session: Developing Strategy to Adapt to a Changing World1 Hour CAE Creating successful strategy depends on understanding the environment within which members live and work and identifying how the association needs to adapt to meet their needs. This workshop will use Looking Forward™ as a discussion guide to identify the issues most important to your members and consider which strategies are critical to your association moving forward. Review what associations nationwide are doing to be successful and the rationale behind these strategies. With your peers, talk about customizing the sector data to your association, discuss the implications on your specific association and leave with a clearer idea of what strategies might be successful given your unique needs.
